Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

TubeTools (tubetools.online) is run by Daniel, an individual based in Spain, who is the data controller for this website. Contact: contacto@tubetools.online.

2. What our tools do with your data

• Images you upload to the Thumbnail Analyzer or Feed Preview are processed locally in your browser. They are never uploaded to TubeTools or anyone else.
• YouTube links you paste are read in your browser to find the video ID. Your browser then requests the thumbnail images directly from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com) and, for titles and channel names, YouTube's public oEmbed service (youtube.com). Those requests go from your device to Google/YouTube, which receive your IP address as with any website request, under Google's Privacy Policy. We don't receive or store the links.
• Local storage: some tools remember things for your convenience on your own device — recent thumbnail searches, checklist ticks, calculator inputs and preview settings. This data stays in your browser's local storage, is never sent to us, and can be deleted by clearing this site's data in your browser.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads served by Google AdSense, operated by Google LLC (and Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA and Switzerland). To show and measure ads:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Other ad vendors and ad networks certified by Google may also serve ads and use cookies on this site.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's My Ad Center, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU). 4. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how people find the site (for example pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser). We don't use it to identify individuals, and we don't combine it with other data about you. You can also block it with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Cookies and your consent choices

• EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first visit, a consent message from Google (a certified consent management platform) asks for your choices. Until you decide, advertising and analytics cookies are denied by default using Google Consent Mode, and ads that are shown are non-personalized or limited.
• United States: depending on your state, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or of targeted advertising. Where required, a message lets you exercise that choice. We don't sell your personal information for money.
• Change your choice at any time with the "Privacy settings" link in the footer of every page, or by deleting this site's cookies in your browser.

6. Contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are delivered to us through Formspree, Inc., a form-processing service (Formspree privacy policy). We use this information only to reply and keep messages for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless we need them longer to resolve a legal issue. You can also email us directly.

7. Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web host, GitHub processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the service (GitHub privacy statement).

8. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

• Consent for analytics and personalized advertising cookies.
• Legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the website, and in showing non-personalized ads to fund it.
• Your request (pre-contractual steps / legitimate interest) to answer messages sent through the contact form.

9. International transfers

Google, GitHub and Formspree may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and/or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Because our tools don't send us your images or links, we usually hold very little data about you — typically only contact-form messages. To make a request, email contacto@tubetools.online. If you're in the EEA, you can also complain to your data protection authority; in Spain that's the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

11. Children

TubeTools is a general-audience site for creators and isn't directed at children under 13 (or under 14 in Spain). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if our practices or the services we use change, and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
