Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

Leafpost is a Chrome extension that turns web pages into e-books and sends them to your Kindle. It was built so that your reading stays private: we do not run servers that receive your content, we do not collect analytics, and we do not sell or share any data.

What happens when you send a page

  1. When you click Leafpost (or use its menu or shortcut), the extension reads the current page, the text you selected, or the link you chose. This happens only on your request.
  2. The page is converted into an EPUB file inside your browser. If you allowed it, images in the article are downloaded from the websites that host them so they can be included in the book.
  3. The file is uploaded from your browser directly to Amazon's Send to Kindle service using the Amazon account you are signed in with in Chrome. Amazon's privacy notice applies to that delivery.

Data stored on your device

Removing the extension deletes this data.

Data we collect

None. Leafpost has no user accounts, no tracking, no advertising and no analytics. The developer cannot see what you send, your Amazon account, or your browsing.

Permissions

Children

Leafpost is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.

Leafpost is not affiliated with Amazon. Kindle is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
